I just signed up. Why don't I see meal plans?+

After you finish profile setup, your first three plans generate automatically. If you're still on the loading screen for more than 30 seconds, pull down to refresh. If that fails, sign out and back in — your profile is saved.

How do I switch the plan I'm following today?+

On the Today tab, tap Back in the top right. You'll see all three plans for today again. Tap Select on any plan to switch. Your eaten meals stay logged — Varient doesn't lose your day.

I added foods to "Foods to Include" but they aren't showing up in plans.+

Save preferences with the button at the bottom of the Home screen, then go to the Today tab and tap New. The included foods will appear in fresh plans. If a food still isn't appearing, it may not be in our verified database — try the Special Requests box instead.

I want to log a food I actually ate that wasn't in my plan.+

Open the chat at the bottom of any screen and tell your coach. "I had 8 oz ribeye for lunch" works. Coach will log the deviation and adjust your remaining macros.

How do I connect my Apple Watch / Oura?+

Profile → Connected Devices. Apple Health is one tap. Oura uses a Personal Access Token — the screen has the link to generate one and step-by-step instructions.

How do I cancel my subscription?+

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Varient → Cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is the nutrition data accurate?+

Yes. Macro and micronutrient values come from USDA FoodData Central. We verify each food's calorie/protein/carb/fat balance and cross-check micronutrient units (IU vs mcg) so the numbers in your plans match real food.

How do I delete my account and data?+

Email support@varientnutrition.com from the address you signed up with. We delete your account, profile, plan history, and all bloodwork data within 7 days. We do not retain copies for marketing.
